About the Exit Only Permit
On a Temporary Stay Permit (KITAS) and need to leave Indonesia? No problem. MyVisa can help you apply for an Exit Permit Only (EPO).
The EPO simply ensures that all your immigration documents are sent back to the right place (the Indonesian Immigration Office and that you’re removed from Indonesian immigration records.
It’s worth noting that sometimes, people choose not to apply for the EPO (or in some cases, they might forget to) because you can still leave Indonesia on a valid KITAS. But, if you return to Indonesia without correctly ending your visa, you may run into some problems.
(Remember—immigration officials have the final say, and they are within their right to deny you access to Indonesia if they choose to.)
Save yourself the headache and leave the EPO application to the dedicated team of experts at MyVisa—you’re in safe hands.
Who is the Exit Only Permit for?
There are three different circumstances where you would need an EPO:
-
When you leave Indonesia and have no intention of returning
-
If you change jobs or companies
-
If you switch from one KITAS to another (ie. from a working KITAS to a retirement KITAS)
